We Intend To Produce Genomic Data

we want to use the power of the scientific revolution to share our skills to improve the quality of life for humans on the planet!

Welcome To Sudan Genome

Who we are

We are a group of scientists and shareholders from different specialties who want to use the power of the scientific revolution to share our skills to improve the quality of life for humans on the planet!

Vision

The Sudan National Genome Project (SNGP) aspires to create a national genomics recourse that serves  the ultimate  purpose of “Genome for all “placing the Sudanese unique genomic legacy in its  deserved rank within national, regional  continental and global contexts

Our Mission

Mission and  Objectives

To establish a national platform (GenBank)  service of an international dimension that will provide a scope to the rich genomic legacy of the population of the Sudan.

By providing researchers access to large genomic data sets the SNGP will foster various genomic applications in health and diseases, including genetic ancestry and shared genetic legacies among Sudanese; variations that predispose to diseases,  affect drug metabolism  and promote genetic diagnostic service for clinical diagnosis.

Protect and maintain the integrity of these genomic legacies against potential genetic piracy and exploitation.

To pave the way for personalized medicine applications.
